Issues of Racism in UU

UUs pride themselves in being liberal and progressive, but, being part of a larger society that still struggles with racism and misogyny, we are not immune to those problems. Here is a link to a story the Washington Post ran about a local controversy surrounding the forced resignation of Rev. Dr. Susan Newman Moore. The photo of Rev. Ancient Egyptian Incantations Tell of Biblical Human Sacrifice?

Link is to a story about an old Coptic text. According to the text "[t]he papyrus also mentions terms and names often used by followers of Gnosticism, a religion that incorporated some of the beliefs of Christianity, Zellmann-Rohrer said." The text doesn't specify what "terms and names" it means but even some of the quoted text sounds a bit gnostic.
